Inside Straight (Draw): An “inside straight draw” is a draw to a straight that is missing one of the cards in the middle (as opposed to on the end). A 4578 is an inside-straight. Also called a one-gapper or a gut-shot. Insurance: A side bet placed in order to ensure winning some money from a large pot.
