This Friday, September 26th, the day before the World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) Main Event, two poker legends will square off in a heads up battle that is sure to bring spectators from around the world.

This epic heads up battle will take place between old time legend of poker Doyle Brunson, and newcomer and winner of the 2007 WSOPE, Annette Oberstaad.

Brunson has been a household name for poker since the 70s. He was the first WSOP winner, and is tied for second with most WSOP bracelets at 10. Brunson also wrote the bible on poker, "Super Systems."

Oberstaad made headlines when she became not only the first woman, but also the youngest person to win the WSOPE. She banked £1 million for winning the WSOPE and also got scooped by BetFair Poker to be their spokesperson and sponsored player.

Oberstaad continues to make headlines in the poker industry, and most recently, she won a $4 180 person tournament without looking at her cards.

The battle between new and old is bound to be a great one. The two players will play a best of 3 heads up battle to kick off the main event which begins on Saturday.
