APPT Makes Next Stop In Seoul E-mail

The PokerStars.net Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT) is just about ready to drop the felt as the second stop on the 2008 APPT in Seoul, South Korea from September 26th-28th. This 3 day main event will only be the second organized tournament run in South Korea (the first was last years APPT) and the turnout is expected to be higher that it was last year.

"The APPT Seoul will continue the APPT’s ’Poker Tourism’ tradition by mixing the best possible poker experiences with colorful flavors of local culture and tradition," says Jeffrey Haas, President of the APPT. "Poker players and their friends will have opportunities beyond the felt to take the Seoul Experience Tour, visit the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), enjoy an Overnight Temple Stay and Learn Taekwondo in Gyeonghuigung Palace!"

The APPT Seoul will have a 3 million won buy in (aprx. $3,000) and is expecting to achieve a record number of entries.

This will truly be an international event as players from Canada, USA, Europe, Australia, and of course Asia have already qualified for this great tournament and are making their way to Seoul right now.
